Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain multi-spindle screw machines. Experience with screw machines required. Wickman and Acme experience preferred and others will be considered.
Balon is an Oklahoma based company engaged in the design and manufacture of valve products for the oil and gas industry since 1965. We source all raw materials from U.S. foundries and forging houses and we design, machine, assemble, and test all products from start to finish in our own plant in OKC.
Balon operates a single shift Monday-Friday, with optional overtime available based on business levels. Our skilled and committed workforce is our most valuable asset in meeting the worldwide demand for Balon products. Balon has never had a layoff.
Must be a self-starter, team player and detail oriented. Must be able to work independently and cooperatively. Willingness to learn and the ability to multi-task on various projects is important.
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety eyeglasses and hearing protectors. For safety purposes, loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted while working in the plant.
